EQA closes the 2010 year with a growing momentum that will continue into the New Year to support EQA’s expansion and reputation around the world.
BCCIE’s EQA Manager, along with representatives from sixteen BC Post-Secondary institutions attended the 2010 Maple Leaf Education System (MLES) Fairs held in China in November. Representing BCCIE, the EQA Manager gave presentations on the BC Education System and BC’s EQA Designation at Embassy meetings and educational Fairs in 6 cities.

Governments, agents and institutions around the globe are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of the EQA brand and the reassurance it offers their post-secondary learners. Effective January 2011, BCCIE issues a monthly bulletin to immigration and consular offices around the world with updates about newly designated EQA institutions and top BC international educational information that can act as tool for them in their job.

We are proud to announce the recent approval of six EQA-designated institutions, five of which are training institutes accredited with Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) and one language school accredited through Languages Canada.

With the addition of these designated schools, BC’s reputation for quality post-secondary institutions and diverse educational programming continues to grow. These newly designated schools located in the Vancouver and surrounding region, offer a variety of specialized programs such as nursing, hospitality tourism, early childhood education, vocational training, design, language training and more! As we progress through the year, our staff look forward to further expanding the portfolio of the EQA Registry to reflect quality programming institutions in all parts of BC.
